Hazel Holt
Hazel Holt (1928–2015) was a British novelist best known for her Sheila Malory mystery series. She studied at Cambridge University and worked at the International African Institute in London, where she became a close friend and literary advisor to novelist Barbara Pym, whose official biography and unpublished works she later edited. Holt wrote her first novel in her sixties and became a leading crime novelist.
