Hartt Wixom

Hartt Wixom was an award-winning author known for his works on Latter-day Saints history, including 'Critiquing the Critics of Joseph Smith' and 'Jacob Hamblin: A Modern Look at the Frontier Life and Legend of Jacob Hamblin,' as well as a biography of Edward Partridge, the first bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.[4][5][6] An avid outdoorsman, he dedicated his professional life to promoting outdoor activities and loved his faith, wife of 58 years, children, and family.[1][2] He passed away at age 83 from cancer in Ivins or St. George, Utah, on March 8, 2017.[1][2]
