Harrison E. Salisbury
Harrison E. Salisbury (1908-1993) was a Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist renowned for his coverage of the Soviet Union as the first regular New York Times correspondent in Moscow after World War II, where he won the 1955 Pulitzer for international reporting. He reported on major events including the Vietnam War from Hanoi, the Civil Rights struggle, and authored 29 books on Russia, China, and journalism such as The 900 Days: The Siege of Leningrad and The New Emperors.[1][2][3]
