Harold D Nathan

Harold D. Nathan, born Harold Nathan Braunhut, was an American mail-order marketer and inventor best known for creating and selling novelty products like Sea-Monkeys under the name Harold von Braunhut.[1] He renamed his brine shrimp product 'Sea-Monkeys' in 1962, significantly boosting sales.[1] Braunhut was also controversially associated with white supremacist views.
