Hanspeter A Mallot

Hanspeter A. Mallot is a German neurobiologist and cognitive scientist born on July 6, 1956, in Koblenz. He studied biology and mathematics at the University of Mainz, earned his PhD in 1986, and held positions at MIT, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, and as Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Tübingen until 2023, now serving as Senior Professor there. His research focuses on quantitative behavioral analyses and modeling of visual perception and spatial cognition in humans.
