Hans-Joachim Heintze

Hans-Joachim Heintze is a German professor of international law specializing in peacekeeping law and human rights, currently serving at the Institute for Peacekeeping Law and Humanitarian International Law (IFHV) at Ruhr University Bochum. He holds a doctorate and habilitation in international law from the University of Leipzig and has been the managing director of IFHV since 1991. His research focuses on minority rights, self-determination of peoples, and humanitarian international law.
