Hans-Joachim Barkenings

Hans-Joachim 'Hajo' Barkenings (1933–2016) was a German evangelical pastor, theologian, writer, and poet. He published numerous theological essays in journals such as Zeitschrift für Religions- und Geistesgeschichte, Evangelische Theologie, and Kirche und Israel, and was recognized as one of the first German theologians to address the Holocaust's challenges.[1][2]
