Hannah More

Hannah More (1745–1833) was an English writer, philanthropist, poet, and playwright known for her religious tracts, moral reform writing, and educational work for the poor. She was also active in the abolitionist movement and became a prominent evangelical voice in late 18th- and early 19th-century Britain.
