Hannah Hauxwell

Hannah Hauxwell was an English hill farmer from the Yorkshire Dales who became widely known after the 1973 ITV documentary "Too Long a Winter," which portrayed her isolated life and the harsh conditions of farming in the Pennines. She later became the subject of additional documentaries and books, and was admired for her resilience and independence.[1][3][6]
