Hal Foster

Hal Foster (born Harold Rudolf Foster) was a Canadian-American comic strip artist and writer best known as the creator of the adventure comic strip Prince Valiant. He is also recognized for his pioneering work adapting Tarzan into comic form and for his influential, highly detailed draftsmanship that helped shape American newspaper comics.
