Hadley Wickham

Hadley Wickham is a prominent statistician and software developer, best known for creating ggplot2, a widely used R package for data visualization, and leading the tidyverse ecosystem that has revolutionized data science in R.[1][2][5] Originally from New Zealand, he earned his PhD in Statistics from Iowa State University and serves as Chief Scientist at Posit (formerly RStudio) while holding an adjunct position at Rice University in Houston, TX.[2][4]
