Gyo Fujikawa
Gyo Fujikawa (1908–1998) was an American illustrator and children's book writer who created over 50 books, including the bestselling titles Babies and Baby Animals. She was recognized as the earliest mainstream illustrator to regularly include children of multiple races in her work and was among the first children's book artists to negotiate royalties rather than accepting flat fees.
