Gustave Dore

Gustave Doré was a French printmaker, illustrator, and artist best known for his highly influential wood-engravings and illustrations of classic literature, including works such as the Bible and Dante's Divine Comedy. He was one of the most prolific and successful book illustrators of the 19th century.[1][4]
