Gus Gordon

Gus Gordon is an internationally acclaimed Australian children's book author and illustrator born in Sydney in 1971, who grew up on a farm in northern New South Wales and worked on cattle stations before studying at the Julian Ashton School of Art.[1][2] He began his career illustrating books for others in 1996 and has since written and illustrated over 80 children's books, many featuring anthropomorphic animals, with titles like Wendy, Herman and Rosie, and Somewhere Else receiving international awards and selling in over 20 countries.[2][3][4] He lives in Sydney with his wife and three children.[1][4]
