Grey Owl

Grey Owl was the pen name of Archibald Belaney, a British-born Canadian writer and conservationist who adopted the persona of an Indigenous trapper. He gained fame in the 1930s for his books advocating wildlife protection, particularly of beavers, and his writings helped spark conservation movements in Canada.
