Gregory Marchildon
Gregory P. Marchildon is a prominent Canadian academic and policy expert, currently serving as Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto and Ontario Research Chair in Health Policy and System Design. He earned a PhD in economic history from the London School of Economics in 1990, held senior government roles in Saskatchewan including Deputy Minister, and directed the Romanow Commission on Canada's health care future. Marchildon has authored numerous books and articles on Canadian history, public policy, federalism, and health systems, including 'Tommy Douglas and the Quest for Medicare in Canada'.
