Grant McOmie

Grant McOmie was a journalist, author, and teacher renowned for his stories on the people, places, outdoor activities, and environmental issues of the Pacific Northwest. He began his broadcast career at Portland’s KGW-TV in 1981-1982, worked as Outdoor Reporter at Seattle's KOMO-TV from 1982-1985, and returned to KGW in 2008 as Outdoor Reporter/Producer, creating the popular 'Grant's Getaways' segments.[1][2]
