Graham Oakley

Graham Oakley (1929–2022) was an English writer and illustrator best known for his Church Mice series of children's picture books, published from 1970 to 2000, and the Foxbury Force series (1994–1998). Born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, as the only child of Thomas and Flora Oakley, he worked in advertising, stage design, and BBC television production design before focusing on children's literature. He passed away in Dorset at age 93.
