Graeme Simsion
Graeme Simsion is a New Zealand-born Australian author, screenwriter, playwright, and former IT consultant and data modeller, best known for his debut novel *The Rosie Project*, which became an international bestseller sold in over six million copies across forty-two languages.[1][2][3] Before writing, he built a successful career in information technology, co-authoring *Data Modelling Essentials*, earning a PhD in data modeling from the University of Melbourne in 2006, and starting his own IT consulting business in 1982.[2][3] He has also written *The Best of Adam Sharp* and co-authored the *Two Steps* series and *Menzies Mental Health* series with his partner Anne Buist.[1][5]
