Graeme Morton

Graeme Morton is a Scottish academic historian and Professor of Modern History at the University of Dundee since 2013, where he also serves as Director of the Centre for Scottish Culture. He previously held the inaugural Scottish Studies Foundation Chair at the University of Guelph from 2004 to 2013 and remains an Adjunct Professor of History there. Best known for conceptualizing Unionist Nationalism, his research focuses on Scottish national identity, civil society, migration, diasporic studies, urban history, and historical meteorology.
