Gordon Brown

Gordon Brown is a Scottish-born British Labour Party politician, not primarily known as an author. He served as Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1997 to 2007 and as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 2007 to 2010, during which he oversaw significant domestic reforms and managed the response to the 2008 financial crisis.
