Giorgio Agamben

Giorgio Agamben is an Italian philosopher and political theorist known for influential work on the state of exception, bare life, and biopolitics. Born in Rome in 1942, he studied law and philosophy at the University of Rome and became one of the leading figures in contemporary continental philosophy.
