Ginger Rogers
Ginger Rogers (born Virginia Katherine McMath; July 16, 1911 – April 25, 1995) was an American actress, dancer, and singer renowned as Fred Astaire's partner in ten musical films during Hollywood's Golden Age. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Kitty Foyle (1940) and continued her career on stage, radio, and television throughout the 20th century[1][4]. Rogers retired in 1984 and published her autobiography, Ginger, My Story, in 1991[2].
