Gina Buonaguro

Gina Buonaguro is a historical fiction author born in New Jersey, USA, who earned a B.A. magna cum laude from Villanova University in 1996 and an M.A. from the University of British Columbia in 1998, where she was a Fulbright Scholar. She co-authored novels including The Sidewalk Artist (2006) with Janice Kirk, Ciao Bella, and The Wolves of St. something, before publishing her first solo novel, The Virgins of Venice, in 2022, which won the 2023 Chaucer Early Historical Fiction Award. She resides in Toronto, Canada, and works as a writer, editor, and educator.[1][2][3][5]
