Gilbert Morris
Gilbert Leslie Morris (1929–2016) was a prolific American Christian author who wrote over 200 books, primarily for young adults, spanning genres such as historical novels, westerns, science fiction, fantasy, and inspirational fiction. His most famous series, the 'House of Winslow,' which follows generations of an immigrant family from the Mayflower era, sold over a million copies and earned him a Christy Award. Before focusing on writing, he was a pastor and English professor, holding degrees from Arkansas State University and a PhD from the University of Arkansas.[1][2][3]
