Gerard W. Boychuk

Gerard W. Boychuk, also known as Gerry Boychuk, is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Waterloo, specializing in Canadian politics, American politics, and comparative health policy between the two countries. He earned his BA and MA from the University of Alberta, PhD from Queen’s University, and held an Izaak Walton Killam Postdoctorate at the University of Alberta. Boychuk has authored works such as 'The Chrétien Legacy' and 'National Health Insurance in the United States and Canada,' and served as Department Chair from 2012-2017 and Director of Global Governance programs at the Balsillie School.
