Gerald R. North

Gerald R. North is a distinguished professor emeritus of atmospheric sciences and oceanography at Texas A&M University, renowned for his extensive research in climate science, paleoclimatology, and global warming. He has held leadership roles including head of the Department of Meteorology and director of the Climate System Research Program, and was honored with the 2020 AGU Ambassador Award. North is also an author of scientific works on variable stars, novae, and climate science.
