Gerald Locklin
Gerald Locklin (1941–2021) was an American poet, professor of English at California State University, Long Beach, and a literary editor who published over 100 volumes of poetry, fiction, and essays. Born in Rochester, New York, he became a central figure in Los Angeles writing and was celebrated by Charles Bukowski as an undiscovered talent. He died from COVID-19-related complications in January 2021, one month before his 80th birthday.
