George Quayle Cannon 1827 - 1901 Dese

George Quayle Cannon (1827–1901) was a prominent 19th-century leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as an apostle, counselor in the First Presidency under four church presidents, and territorial delegate to the U.S. Congress. He was also a journalist, publisher, and educator who helped translate the Book of Mormon into Hawaiian and founded several influential LDS publications.
