George L. Blackburn
George L. Blackburn (1936–2017) was a surgeon, researcher, and educator best known for his work in nutrition medicine and obesity treatment at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He pioneered gastric bypass surgery for weight loss in New England and helped advance the study of how nutrition contributes to obesity.[1][3]
