George Kennedy

George Harris Kennedy Jr. was an American actor who appeared in over 200 film and television productions throughout his career. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Dragline in Cool Hand Luke (1967) and became well-known for playing tough, no-nonsense characters. A World War II veteran, Kennedy also wrote three books including his 2011 autobiography Trust Me.
