George Bacon Wood

George Bacon Wood (1797–1879) was an American physician, chemist, professor, and writer from Pennsylvania. He taught at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and the University of Pennsylvania, and is best known for medical works such as the "Dispensatory of the United States" and "A Treatise on the Practice of Medicine."
