Geoffrey Hill

Geoffrey Hill was an English poet and critic, widely regarded as one of the major poets of the 20th and early 21st centuries. Born in Worcestershire, he studied at Oxford and taught at the Universities of Leeds, Cambridge, and Boston University, while publishing influential collections such as For the Unfallen, Mercian Hymns, and The Triumph of Love.
