Geoff Gilpin

Geoff Gilpin is a computer programmer, technical writer, and author of creative nonfiction who lived inside the Maharishi's movement for five years in the 1970s. He is the author of 'The Maharishi Effect,' a literary-journalistic memoir exploring Transcendental Meditation and alternative spirituality in America. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, his work blends personal experience with journalistic inquiry.
