Genevieve Cote (Author, Illustrator)

Geneviève Côté is a Canadian author and illustrator born in 1964 in Montréal, Québec, who studied art and graphic design at Concordia University, graduating in 1987. She has created numerous children's picture books, including the Pig & Bunny and Mr. King series, and her editorial illustrations have appeared in publications like The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. A resident of Montréal, she has won prestigious awards such as the Governor General’s Award for Children’s Illustration in 2007 and the Marilyn Baillie Picture Book Award in 2012.
