Gavin Schmidt

Gavin A. Schmidt is a British climatologist and climate modeler who serves as director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York. He is also a co-founder of the climate science blog RealClimate and has worked extensively on climate modeling, climate change communication, and Earth system simulations.
