Gary Roe

Gary Roe is an author, speaker, grief specialist, and grief coach who previously served as a missionary in Japan, pastor in Texas and Washington, entrepreneur in Hawaii, and chaplain at Hospice Brazos Valley in central Texas. He has authored several bestselling books on grief and loss, including Heartbroken: Healing from the Loss of a Spouse, Shattered: Surviving the Loss of a Child, Please Be Patient, I’m Grieving, Surviving the Holidays Without You, and Aftermath. Married to Jen with seven children, including three adopted daughters from Colombia, he is based in central Texas.
