Gary Gutting

Gary Gutting was an American philosopher and professor of philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, known for his work on continental philosophy, philosophy of science, and his accessible writings on philosophy for the public. He authored numerous books and contributed regularly to The New York Times' philosophy blog, The Stone. He passed away in 2019.
