Gary Gianni

Gary Gianni (born 1954) is an American comics artist and illustrator best known for illustrating the syndicated newspaper comic Prince Valiant for eight years.[1][3] He graduated from the Chicago Academy of Fine Art in 1976 and has worked on magazines, children's books, graphic novels, and adaptations of classics like Moby Dick and Kidnapped, as well as Hellboy: Into the Silent Sea.[4][2][5] Gianni was nominated for an Eisner Award in 2018 for his work on Into the Silent Sea and contributed to George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series.[2][5]
