Gary Bogue

Gary Bogue (1938–2019) was an American naturalist, writer, and educator who served as curator of the Lindsay Wildlife Museum in Walnut Creek, California, from 1967 to 1979, where he developed one of the country's first wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centers.[1][2] He wrote a daily column on pets and wildlife for Contra Costa Times and Bay Area News Group for 42 years and authored books including There's an Opossum in My Backyard and The Raccoon Next Door.[2] A founding board member of the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council, he was honored posthumously with the Gary Bogue Memorial Veterinary Fund by Lindsay Wildlife.[3][4]
