Gardner Francis Fox

Gardner Francis Fox was an American writer best known for creating numerous iconic comic book characters for DC Comics, including The Flash, Hawkman, Doctor Fate, and the original Sandman. He co-created the Justice Society of America and later helped revive the team as the Justice League of America, writing over 4,000 comic stories throughout his career. Fox was also a prolific author of science fiction, fantasy, and historical novels.
