Fulton J. Sheen
Fulton J. Sheen (born Peter John Sheen) was an American Catholic bishop, renowned theologian, and preacher famous for his television and radio programs like 'Life is Worth Living,' which drew millions of viewers. Ordained in 1919, he earned a doctorate from the Catholic University of Louvain and the Cardinal Mercier Prize in 1923, later teaching at the Catholic University of America and serving as Bishop of Rochester from 1966 to 1969. A prolific author of books such as 'Communism and the Conscience of the West' and 'Way to Inner Peace,' he was declared Venerable by the Catholic Church and is remembered as one of the 20th century's most influential Catholic figures.
