Frederick Kagan

Frederick W. Kagan is an American historian and neoconservative scholar specializing in Russian and Soviet military history, currently serving as the Director of the Critical Threats Project at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). He was formerly an associate professor of military history at the US Military Academy at West Point and is known for his intellectual contributions to the 'surge' strategy in Iraq.
