Frederic Beigbeder

Frédéric Beigbeder is a French writer, literary critic, and television presenter born on September 21, 1965, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, known for his provocative satire and works like *99 Francs* critiquing consumerism and *Windows on the World*, which won the Prix Interallié in 2003.[1][2] He founded the Prix de Flore in 1994 to spotlight emerging authors and later the Prix Sade, and served as executive director of the magazine *Lui*.[1][3] Beigbeder won the Prix Renaudot in 2009 for *A French Novel*, a personal memoir, establishing him as a controversial enfant terrible of French literature.[1][2]
