Frank Serafini
Dr. Frank Serafini is a Professor of Literacy Education and Children's Literature at Arizona State University and an award-winning children's picturebook author and illustrator. He has worked as an elementary classroom teacher, literacy specialist, and educational consultant for over thirty years, publishing numerous professional development textbooks and children's books. His research focuses on visual literacy, multimodal analysis, and children's literature, and he received the Mayhill Arbuthnot Award from the International Literacy Association as the 2014 Distinguished Professor of Children's Literature.
