Frank Cole Babbitt

Frank Cole Babbitt (1867-1935) was an American classical philologist who graduated from Harvard with degrees in 1890, 1892, and 1895, served as the first fellow in archaeology at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens in 1895-1896, and taught Greek at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut from 1898 until his death.[1][2] He is renowned for discovering the ruins of the ancient theater at Corinth and translating five volumes of Plutarch's Moralia for the Loeb Classical Library.[4][1]
