Frank Asch
Frank Asch (1946-2022) was an American children's book author and illustrator, best known for his Moonbear picture book series and over 60 other titles including George's Store, Turtle Tale, and Here Comes the Cat!. Born in Somerville, New Jersey, he graduated from Cooper Union with a B.F.A. in 1969, taught in schools in India and the U.S., and led workshops in art and storytelling.[1][2][3]
