Franciska Zolyom

Franciska Zólyom is a Hungarian-born Kunsthistorikerin and exhibition curator who has served as the director of the Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst (GfZK) in Leipzig since 2012. She was appointed by Germany's Federal Foreign Minister to curate the official German contribution at the 58th Venice Biennale in 2019. Her work focuses on contemporary art, artistic research, and site-specific projects that explore local history and the spatialization of ideologies.
