Francis Biddle
Francis Beverley Biddle (1886–1968) was an American lawyer and federal judge who served as the U.S. Attorney General during World War II under President Franklin D. Roosevelt. He is notably recognized for his role as the primary American judge at the Nuremberg Trials following the war, where he helped prosecute Nazi war criminals. Biddle also authored several books in retirement, including 'The Fear of Freedom' and 'In Brief Authority'.
