Francis A. Fahy

Francis A. Fahy (Francis Arthur Fahy) was an Irish nationalist songwriter, poet, and civil servant born in Kinvara, County Galway, in 1854. He is best remembered for songs such as "The Ould Plaid Shawl," "The Irish Lullaby," and "Galway Bay," and he contributed to Irish nationalist newspapers and magazines while living in London. [1][2]
